Safety
has always been a top priority at Pizzagalli. We are committed to
providing a safe and healthy working environment for our employees,
and every individual who enters our project sites.

Pizzagalli 's safety program has become a model for the industry,
not only in its design, but in its execution as well. We no longer
focus on policing projects for safety violations. Instead, our company
philosophy embraces the proactive concept of a planned safe worksite.
Everyone no matter what rank or position looks out for each other.
And management views it as their responsibility to provide Pizzagalli
employees with the tools necessary to work as safely as possible.
Our
Zero
Accident attitude manifests itself in preplanning safety into
every task, every day, striving for zero injuries and zero interruptions.
The
five principles of our safety program are an integral part of day-to-day
operations:
- Responsibility - commitment from corporate management
to craft employees
- Training - both new employee safety orientation and
ongoing training
- Accountability - self-inspection, corrective actions,
documentation
- Recognition - company encouragement for participation
- Commitment - strict adherence to company policies and
state and federal OSHA regulations
Pizzagalli's safety program extends beyond individual worker safety
to the protection of subcontractor employees, the public and property.
"The Mauldin Road Staff would like to take this opportunity
to compliment your staff on their incredible safety record.
Your commitment to a safer working environment has been
very impressive and inspiring."
"Thank you for all the hard work, exceptional observance
of safety regulations, and safety concerns for your co-workers
as well as WCRSA employees active in your work areas. Congratulations
to your entire staff on a job well done."
